Corporate Policy Committee focuses on legislation and legislative proposals on taxation, company law, employment, pension, and competition policy with a particular attention to lowering institutional hurdles faced by business when trying to integrate European business into pan-European operation. The issues being dealt with include European Company Statute, Merger Directive, European Works Council, and Merger Control Regulation. Its active cooperation with the EU-Japan Business Dialogue allows its voice to be heard by EU and Japan top policy makers. |
