JBCE 10th Anniversary Symposium Overview
On 6 October 2009, Japan Business Council in Europe (JBCE) celebrated its 10th Anniversary by hosting a Symposium, bringing together stakeholders from across Brussels and the Member States to discuss the issue of "Advancing and greening Europe's economy through technological innovation."
The Symposium offered the opportunity for EU policy-makers, journalists and other stakeholders to learn more about the contributions that are being and will be made by Japanese industry in Europe. In particular, the Symposium focused on technologies that can result in better solutions to current environmental problems and issues, in particular in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency and savings
