CEN & CENELEC's presentation of current European Standardization activities

On 12^th October 2023, the JBCE’s Standards & Conformity Committee welcomed as guest speakers Zhuohua Chen, Nooshin Amirifar and Kate Lancaster from the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) and Electronical Standardisation (CENELEC).

They presented some of the main European Standardization activities, including EU-Japan cooperation, the current work of CEN & CENELEC and the Japanese Industrial Standards Activities Committee (JISC), Cybersecurity, AI, Eco-Design, Batteries, Hydrogen, and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards.

The presentation was followed by a lively discussion and Q&A session.
