Planning Committee
The Planning Committee deals with the overall strategic agenda of JBCE. It is composed of the Board Members and Chairs and Vice-Chairs of the established policy committees.
The Planning Committee’s coverage includes areas such as:
- The general direction taken by the association
- The overall strategic aspects of the association’s management
- Human resources-related developments
- Budget and annual planning
- New initiatives / activities undertaken by the association
The Planning Committee also aims to monitor the general political direction taken by the EU and prepare positions on horizontal files of strategic interest to JBCE members, with a particular focus on economic security and ‘Made in Europe’ developments. It seeks to enhance outreach activities to the EU institutions to promote alternatives to ‘Made in Europe’, in particular in the Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA).
