Environment & Energy Committee
The Environment & Energy Committee aims to appropriately articulate the challenges faced by industry and to contribute to the sustainable development of the EU through constructive input and engagement.
Some of the key priorities of the Committee include, but are not limited to, the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive, the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation, the Ecodesign Directive and Regulation, the EU Batteries Regulation, the Packaging and Packaging Waste (PPWR) Directive, the F-gas Regulation, and the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS).
Seven working groups operate under the umbrella of the Committee:
