JBCE WEBINAR on the Trade and Climate initiative in the WTO

JBCE Trade Policy Committee held the webinar on the Trade and Climate initiative in the WTO with the guest speakers from DG-TRADE (C.4); Ms. Madelaine TUININGA, Head of Unit and Ms. Indre VAICEKAUSKAITE, Policy Assistant.

Thanks to the overview of developments so far and description of the EU’s approach to the WTO negotiations our guest speakers provided, we could have a productive exchange with them. Issues discussed included the current state of affairs, next steps, the EU’s approach to the negotiations and the role that industry and JBCE could play in supporting the EU’s efforts.
